We operate a full cutting service including mitre cutting with the latest automatic NC bandsaws and circular sawing machines with capacities up to 560 mm.


Plate shearing

In addition to our extensive range of sheet and plate, our in-house shearing facility offers a fast turnaround for quantities large and small in thicknesses from 1.5 mm up to 12 mm.


Press Braking and Bending

To complement our sheet and plate shearing we offer a comprehensive press braking service. Press braking gives us the ability to produce bespoke and non-standard sizes in a variety of materials.


Drilling, Punching, Fabrication

Harris Steels has the in-house facilities to manufacture to customer drawings. Our extensive range of stock is on hand to cut lead-times and reduce costs, and offers customers a complete supply solution.


Laser Cutting

Laser cutting enables us to produce almost unlimited 2D shapes and designs using our sheet and plate and for extra versatility we can laser cut complex forms to simple holes in the steel tubing we hold in stock.


Surface Preparation

Correct surface preparation and treatment is essential in ensuring the overall success of any additional layers of corrosion resistance. Harris Steels can not only shot blast and primer paint your material but also offers pickling and oiling for the removal of mill scale and other surface contaminants.


Material Finishing

Whether your products are used in the most corrosive of marine environments, inside the structure of a building or have aesthetic qualities on display, we can provide the finish you need. Our services include Powder Coating, Electroplating and in-house Hot Dip Galvanising.
