Hot Rolled Equal Angles Bromsgrove

Uses and Applications
Used in load-bearing applications as finished angles or bolted/welded back-to-back to create tee shapes. Surface scale can be removed by pickling and oiling (P&O), though shot blasting is commonly used in Bromsgrove for smooth or painted surfaces.
Manufacture and Standards
Manufactured to S275 and S355 standards, with S355 requiring a minimum tensile yield of 355 N/mm². Production tolerances for larger sections range from 0.4 mm upwards.
